Single Touch Payroll - We can help!

On Wednesday, 5 December, the Senate passed the Treasury Laws Amendment that extends the Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting requirements so they apply to all employers.

What do you need to know?

The expectation is that all businesses, that have the capability or no real impediment to reporting (e.g. no internet access), will report their employee payroll obligations electronically as at 1 July 2019.

What you need to do?

If you haven't already done so, contact your Tax & Business Advisory Manager at EnVision Partners and choose one of the following options:

¨ Option 1: I have this under control and I am implementing STP myself. This option is for you if you feel confident about the ATO compliance around STP, and you can implement STP via your existing software system without assistance.

¨ Option 2: I require assistance to implement a payroll program. EnVision Partners can assist you in implementing a technology option that will automate and streamline your payroll processes, improve the accuracy of your payroll data and keep you up-to-date and compliant with the ATO. Full training and assistance is available for this option. You will not be left alone to work through your new program.

¨ Option 3: I engage EnVision Partners to implement and administer my payroll. You can appoint EnVision Partners as your payroll administrator, meaning you can relax about your payroll obligations knowing that they are correctly managed on your behalf.
